Although they had a relatively homogenous virtualization environment based on VMware, they wanted to do more to better unify the multiple datacenters stretched across the state and increase availability. Additionally, the State was spending more money than needed due to inefficiencies in resource utilization. After investigating a dozen different vendors, CloudBolt Command and Control was selected as the clear winner. CloudBolt C2's superior technology uniquely enabled the State of Wyoming to offer increased service at a decreased cost to the constituant, as well as unifying multiple data centers. Additionally, the level of flexibility introduced by selecting CloudBolt C2 allowed the State to increase availability of critical citizen-facing services.
